Booking Notes|Ensuring a Smooth Start to Your Fishing Trip
To ensure every passenger enjoys a safe and seamless fishing experience, please read the following information carefully before booking.
1. Booking Process
- Inquiry & Confirmation
Contact us via WhatsApp / Phone / Website form with your preferred date, number of people, trip type, and departure pier.
We will reply within 12 hours regarding availability, pricing, and meeting details. - Confirming Your Booking
Once the itinerary is confirmed, please pay a 50% deposit (the remaining balance is to be settled in cash or by transfer after boarding).
The deposit can be made via Bank Transfer / FPS / PayMe. Your booking is secured once payment is received. - On the Day of Departure
Please arrive at the designated pier 15 minutes early. The captain will contact you and guide you to the boarding point.
A brief safety briefing will be provided onboard before departure.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Cancellation due to adverse weather (e.g., Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above, Red/Black Rainstorm Warning):
Full deposit refund or free rescheduling. - Guest-initiated cancellation:
More than 7 days before departure: Full deposit refund.
2–7 days before departure: 50% deposit refund.
Within 48 hours of departure: Deposit is non-refundable. - Rescheduling: Can be requested 48 hours prior to departure, subject to availability (limit of one change).
3. Cost Description
- Price includes: Boat charter, captain and crew services, basic insurance, use of fishing boat equipment (fish finder, bow thruster, etc.), safety equipment, ice, and Antarctic krill*.
- Optional extra services (require advance booking):
Fishing gear rental (rod, reel, weights, etc.)
Simple catering arrangements - Onboard payments accepted in cash and via common e-payment methods (e.g., AlipayHK, WeChat Pay, FPS, PayMe).
4. Safety & Health Reminders
- Please follow the captain's instructions. Do not move around recklessly or engage in risky actions while the boat is moving.
Recommended personal items: Sun-protective clothing, hat, sunglasses, seasickness medication (if needed), personal medication, change of clothes.
Age & Health: Participants under 6 years old, pregnant women, individuals with mobility challenges, or those with serious heart conditions, hypertension, etc., are advised to assess their suitability before joining.
Safety equipment: Life jackets, lifebuoys, and a first aid kit are available onboard. Please pay attention to the safety briefing.
5. Fishing & Environmental Protection
- We encourage catching in moderation and taking only what you need, supporting sustainable fishing.
Fish that are undersized or not suitable for consumption are recommended to be released immediately.
Please do not throw trash into the sea. A waste bin is provided onboard.
6. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I join if I have no fishing experience?
A: Absolutely! The captain and crew will provide basic guidance, making it suitable for beginners.
Q: Can I take all the fish I catch?
A: Subject to the species and size of the catch, and in compliance with regulations set by the Hong Kong Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. Ice or the onboard live well is available for temporary storage.
Q: Will you wait if I'm late?
A: To protect the schedule for other passengers, please be punctual. If you are over 30 minutes late without prior notice, it may be treated as a cancellation.
